Specialty Areas Include:

  • You are not going crazy. You have anxiety that is not serving you at this time. Let’s see if we can make it stop.

Anxiety has a way of taking hold, affecting nearly every part of your day. Whether it’s been with you for as long as you can remember or has gradually developed through life’s transitions and struggles, it's important to know that you’re meant for a life of peace and fulfillment. Breaking free from the cycle of anxiety is possible. Through therapy, you can gain the tools and support your need to heal and grow, helping you find calm, stability, and a deeper connection to the present moment.

Find inner peace instead of having all of your energy going to controlling your thoughts, constantly distracting yourself to try and avoid anxious thoughts, worrying about what others think of you, struggling to let go of worries or avoiding things in your life.

  • Are you feeling overwhelmed by depression, as if it’s taking over your life, but struggling to move past the sadness? Things that once brought you joy may no longer excite you, and you might find yourself withdrawing from loved ones. Guilt, shame, and self-criticism can cloud your sense of self, making it hard to see your worth. Though it may feel impossible right now, healing is possible. You can rediscover joy, meaning, and connection in your life. Together, we can work towards peace and balance, moving beyond the weight of these feelings and rediscovering hope. I understand how tough this journey can be and the stigma around depression. You’re not alone—I’m here to support you, offering compassionate care and helping you navigate the challenges. Many of my clients find comfort in realizing their struggles don’t define them, and a brighter future is always within reach.

  • Are you struggling to adjust to a new stage in your life? That’s a normal experience, but let’s see how we can work together to make this transition a smoother path for you. Life transitions are significant changes that occur throughout a person’s life, leading to growth, self-discovery, and the development of new coping strategies. These transitions can be both positive and challenging, often accompanied by an array of mental health challenges.

Therapy provides a structured and supportive environment to explore and address the unique challenges and opportunities that arise from personal transitions, fostering growth, resilience, and enhanced mental well-being. Some key benefits of therapy include emotional support, effective coping strategies to manage the emotions and psychological challenges that often accompany life transitions, and stress management techniques. It also promotes greater self-awareness and resilience, helps develop problem-solving skills, and offers validation by normalizing individuals' experiences and emotions, which can reduce feelings of isolation. Through the insights in therapy, individuals can gain new tools and boost their self-confidence.

  • Being a woman is wonderful, but it isn’t always easy! Let’s work toward finding some relief for you right now. Life transitions for women such as pregnancy, postpartum, fertility concerns, miscarriage, infant/child loss, menopause, growing into your older years and relationship dynamics can be deeply challenging. Blossoming in Therapy offers a supportive space to explore emotions, cope with stress, and navigate these transitions with care.

Infertility is personal and often isolating, but therapy can provide crucial support to help manage the emotional weight of the ongoing stress and often continual disappoint in addition to the intensity of the physical challenges around IVF treatment. Societal expectations often bring another layer of challenge and upset to couples who are faced with infertility and therapy can aid in supporting clients through this grieving period.

Pregnancy and motherhood come with unique struggles, and many women feel conflicted when they experience emotions that don't align with societal expectations. It's common to think, "I should be happy, but I'm not," which can lead to self-doubt. Therapy creates a space where all feelings—fear, joy, grief—are validated. Postpartum mood disorders affect about 1 in 8 mothers. Hormonal changes, sleep deprivation, and the stress of caring for a newborn can trigger overwhelming emotions. Therapy offers vital support for both the mother’s mental health and the baby’s well-being. The postpartum period can last up to two years, with shifting family dynamics. Together, we can develop a plan to help you feel grounded and positive.

Menopause, though natural, often brings about physical, emotional, and psychological challenges. The stages—peri-menopause, menopause, and post-menopause—can impact relationships, self-esteem, and health. Together we can explore treatment options and specifically focus on the non-hormonal treatments that can positively impact women during these stages of life. Through lifestyle changes and relaxation techniques you will begin to embrace this phase with greater ease, understanding and self-love.

  • Are you struggling with being a first-time parent, wondering why the hospital didn’t send you home with a guidebook for the most important job of your life? Are you wondering why your adolescent is pulling away from you and wants to spend so much time in their room? Are your children grown up and adults themselves now and you’re feeling a loss of connection with them and want to explore what might be happening?

Parenting is one of life’s most rewarding experiences, but it can also be incredibly challenging. Balancing the needs of your family with your own can leave you feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, and disconnected. At Blossoming in Therapy, I understand how tough it can be, and I’m here to help you restore balance, peace, and joy to your family life. I offer personalized coaching, practical resources, and proven strategies designed to meet the unique needs of your family. My goal is to support you every step of the way.

Parenthood Isn’t Easy – But You Don’t Have to Do It Alone
You’re already the expert when it comes to your child and your family dynamic. My job is to partner with you—understanding what’s working and where you need support. I take the time to listen to your concerns and then provide you with parenting techniques and solutions.

Parenting takes a village, and no one should do it alone. My practice is inclusive of all families and I understand the unique strengths and challenges of each family structure.

We’ll begin our work together with creating a personalized action plan. We’ll outline what changes are possible and when to expect progress. As you apply new strategies, we’ll continue to track improvements and ensure ongoing support. I believe with the right tools and guidance, every parent can succeed. Positive change is possible from day one.

  • Are you facing challenges in your family relationships that are causing upset in your life?

Blossoming in Therapy can be a valuable space to explore these dynamics and gain insight into your role within them. It’s especially helpful if you’re dealing with:

    • Ongoing family conflicts that leave you feeling stuck

    • Communication struggles or misunderstandings with family members

    • Heightened stress or anxiety tied to family issues

    • Difficulty setting boundaries with family

    • Unresolved issues from childhood

In individual therapy focused on family dynamics, we’ll work together to understand your role in these relationships, even if you're not involved in family therapy sessions. This approach helps you explore patterns, behaviors, and communication styles that may be influencing family interactions. It offers a chance to develop healthier coping strategies and improve how you relate to your family.

Key aspects of this therapy include recognizing your role in family conflicts, breaking unhealthy patterns, improving communication to express your needs, setting boundaries to protect your well-being, and managing emotions in difficult family situations. You’ll also explore how past family experiences may still be affecting your current relationships and work on resolving lingering emotional stress tied to family matters.

  • Are you holding yourself back because you don’t feel good about who you are? Maybe restless nights are filled with harsh self-judgment, or you watch others live their best lives while you feel stuck? Do you perhaps avoid mirrors or feel lonely, thinking others will judge you if they truly know who you are?

The inner critic is relentless, nitpicking everything you do, leaving you with a sense of never being enough. Even when you achieve your goals, the satisfaction feels short-lived, and that nagging inadequacy lingers. Despite your efforts—self-help podcasts, journaling, exercise—it seems like nothing works. You're terrified of showing your imperfections, making it hard to connect with others.

Perfectionism might have crept into parts of your life. It’s not just about striving for excellence but about believing only perfection can protect you from judgment or rejection. But this drive leaves you feeling empty and disconnected, reinforcing the idea that you're never enough. You long for relief from self-hatred and crave a life of vitality. Low self-esteem can make you feel worthless and isolated, but it doesn’t have to define you.

Through focused therapy, we’ll work together to quiet your inner critic, helping you pursue the life you deserve. By healing your inner voice, you can rediscover peace, contentment, and happiness within yourself.

  • Do you wonder some days if your brain is broken? Do you wonder why it’s so hard for you to accomplish certain tasks or to keep track of your keys? Do you find yourself criticizing yourself and struggling with not feeling good enough?

An essential aspect of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)  coaching is about cultivating a deeper sense of self-acceptance and self-love. Individuals with ADHD often grapple with feelings of inadequacy, frustration, and self-criticism.

The Blossoming in Therapy coaching process encourages you to observe your thoughts and behaviors with compassion, helping you become more aware of your internal narratives without judgment. This mindful self-awareness is key to shifting negative thought patterns and fostering a more compassionate relationship with yourself.

In addition to promoting self-compassion, in my ADHD coaching, I emphasize reframing judgmental thoughts. You will be encouraged to shift your internal “mirror” from one of criticism to one of support, creating space for personal growth and a healthier self-image.

Finally, a critical part of my coaching underscores the importance of creating environments—both physical and mental—where individuals can thrive. Whether it’s minimizing distractions in your surroundings, implementing organizational strategies or cultivating a mindset that fosters flexibility and creativity, the goal is to establish a foundation where you can feel safe to be yourself, free from judgment, and supported on your path to success. Through ADHD coaching, you’ll gain the tools and insights needed to navigate life’s challenges, embrace your unique strengths, and lead a more fulfilling life.
