MSW, MA, LISW (she/her/hers)
Finding fulfillment and harmony comes with practicing self-compassion and understanding what leads us forward and what holds us back. Challenges are a natural part of life, and when we embrace them, we create space for new ways of thinking, turning obstacles into opportunities for growth and healing. Our work together can open up what is possible and help you explore ways to achieve emotional freedom, health and wellbeing.
Our sessions will take place in a nurturing environment, where we’ll build a collaborative partnership led by your unique circumstances and goals. Guided by gentle curiosity and honoring your strengths while using a holistic approach , I am here to walk beside you on your journey. Through listening intently to your story and using a range of therapeutic modalities, we’ll practice self-awareness while cultivating self-compassion and psychological flexibility. My strategies include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, breath work, somatic awareness, psychosocial education, guided journaling and intellectual curiosity. We’ll work together to support your resilience through use of these skills in therapy sessions as well as integrating them into your daily routine at home. In this way, you will become better equipped to handle life’s stressors, and make lasting healthy changes to create a more balanced life, filled with meaning and purpose.

The following is unsolicited feedback from former clients.
“I am so happy that I met you Amy! You were the person who helped me move forward, take ownership of my life, and grow into someone I am truly proud to be. From our first session, I felt such a connection to you and I’m grateful you were the one who walked this journey with me. I am sad to let go of our weekly talks now that I have “graduated” but I am so glad I am at a point in my journey to do so. I appreciate you so much.”

Your strategies were practical and effective, and I am so grateful for all of the valuable resources you shared with me to do at home, that complemented the work we did in our sessions.
